Why Corthex Capital exists
Corthex Capital exists to study how value forms in global markets before that value is widely understood. The firm was built on the belief that careful research, applied patiently and with respect for risk, is more durable than conviction borrowed from the crowd. Corthex Capital is a place to do that work seriously.
What market problems it studies
The firm studies market structure, liquidity and the emergence of new asset classes — particularly global markets and digital assets and the emerging technology shaping them. These are areas where the rules are still being written, where structure is incomplete, and where understanding tends to lag activity.
What principles guide the firm
Corthex Capital is guided by a short set of principles: risk first, no forced trades, liquidity matters, narratives are studied rather than worshipped, research comes before exposure, and disclosures come before promotion. The firm's approach to risk is set out in the Corthex Capital risk framework.
What Corthex Capital will not do
Corthex Capital will not promise returns or make performance claims. It will not present narrative as certainty, will not treat activity as an end in itself, and will not promote ahead of disclosure. Nothing the firm publishes is investment advice.
